California Chrome Authentic Worn Halter With Coa From Taylor Made Old Friend
We are very pleased to offer this fantastic and extremely collectable item - an authentic, worn halter with COA of the great champion, Kentucky Derby / Preakness / Dubai World Cup winner and Horse of the Year California Chrome. The halter is of high quality, crafted from fine leather. It shows the usual signs of minor wear but is in very good condition. His name plate is clearly legible and has a few nicks on it. This halter was obtained at a fundraiser held at the Merrick Inn and comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Ben Taylor of Taylor Made Stallions, dated April 27, 2016.
Proceeds from this item go toward the continued care of our retired Thoroughbred athletes at Old Friends. Thank you for your support.For his efforts, he was awarded the Vox Populi Award, and the Eclipse Award for Champion Three-Year Old Colt and 2014 Horse of the Year. He is currently 3 for 3, with his world beating victory coming in the Dubai World Cup. California Chrome remains in training under Art Sherman and is pointed toward the Breeders Cup Classic in November 2016. At this time, plans are to retire him to stud at Taylor Made Farm afterward.
