The watch was released in 1983 and produced in low numbers. As with any pioneering technology, the style and features were unique and the price was high for its day. The Seiko Voice Note is a watch used by at least 3 of the four Ghostbusters. Ray, Egon and Peter are all seen wearing these watches in various behind the scenes shots and during the end credits making it presumably standard for all Ghostbusters.

One of the earliest implementations of Carbon fiber used watch making. The carbon fiber watch body and band give the watch a good balance of strength, weight, and high-end feel. The face is accented with Stainless steel and completed with precision craftsmanship.

Its features ground-breaking electronics (for the day) include recording either 4 or 8 secs of audio, backlight, MH&Seconds, date, stop watch, etc. Pictures shown are of the actual Item. This watch was never worn, carefully packed and sealed tight for many years, and kept in a smoke free home. It is a perfect centerpiece for the high end Ghostbuster collector with an eye for the little details that make a uniform complete..

Comes with fresh batteries, changed carefully on 4/20/19 by a professional watchmaker and jeweler. As you can see from the pictures the internal compartment is mint as is the all important seal gasket. The outside is in like new condition which is astonishingly rare to find on a nearly 40 year old collector piece produced in such low numbers.
