Poster for the 1976 cult classic'The Killing of a Chinese Bookie', directed by John Cassavetes and starring Ben Gazzara and Seymour Cassel. This is the much sought-after Calligraphy Style, featuring an elegant sketch along with Chinese text.

This design is more commonly found in the 25" x 38" size; this smaller format is somewhat scarcer and features the exact same image - at a lower price. Size of poster is 15" x 21" inches (linen border extends about 3/4 inch all around). The condition is excellent: prior to linen-backing it was in great shape - it had never been folded and had only minor creasing.

It has been beautifully linen-backed and looks great! Please note that the magnets in the corners are used during the photographic process and are not pushpins or elements of the design.
