LAUREL AND HARDY - SONS OF THE DESERT - 1933. - Lets see where the market takes this one - i will either lose my shirt or it will realise its true value, so here goes! Up for sale is a very nice and rare piece of Laurel and Hardy memorabilia.

A'SONS OF THE DESERT' original red printed fez that would have been worn by a background character in one of the lodge convention scenes from this classic Hal Roach comedy from 1933. While this is not one of the embroidered fezzes that was worn by the main characters who appeared in the close up shots, this is still a very rare item worn by one of the background characters and will be a fine addition to any Laurel and Hardy collection. I will be posting up many more Stan and Ollie pieces posters, stills, programs etc. The Fez is in good screen used condition and is constructed of maroon coloured felt featuring a gold coloured paint design'Sons of the Desert' lodge logo on the front which has some loss and cracking of the paint due to its age.

There is a hole at the top of the Fez where the tassel would have originally been. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Please see my other auctions.
