Frank William George Lloyd was a Scottish American film director, scriptwriter and producer.Lloyd was among the founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and its president between 1934 and 1935. Lloyd was nominated five times for the Academy Award for Best Directing, for Weary River (1929), The Divine Lady (1929), Drag (1929), Cavalcade (1933), and Mutiny on the Bounty (1935). He won for The Divine Lady and Cavalcade.
