Original, first release French 1 panel poster for the 1968 Stanley Kubrick classic'2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY'. This is a very hard-to-find poster. In many countries throughout the world - including France - this movie was re-issued many times over the years. While many of the commonly found French re-release posters feature the same design, they can easily be distinguished from this first release poster - they lack the multi-color "Cinerama" logo at the bottom of this poster. Poster measures 46x62 inches and overall condition is excellent, folded as issued with an approximately 1.5 inch edge tear at the top horizontal fold (at the left border).
