Very few of these survive and are highly sought after by vintage Hollywood memorabilia collectors. Where more than one of the same title exists, they have different versions of clothing colors, and even font styles, sizes and placement. This is the only one found for this 1936 film. The movie is a romantic comedy and tells the story of mistaken conclusions regarding the relationship of Gable with his secretary (Harlow). A young Jimmy Stewart is not even included in this poster billing but his role as Harlow's boyfriend became one of his most memorable.
Speaking about the movie later, Stewart said that he "botched" his kissing scenes with Harlow deliberately and had to do several retakes. He commented later That Jean Harlow sure was a good kisser. I realized that until then I had never been really kissed. This is a truly unique opportunity to own a piece of Hollywood's Golden Age history. Measuring 40" x 60", the poster is in very good condition with light wear including some small scratches and edge wear around the corners.
