Gene Kelly 1929 Peabody HS Yearbook Pittsburgh Movie Star Memorabilia

Actor and dancer Eugene "Gene" Kelly graduated from The Peabody High School in Pittsburgh at the age of 16 in 1929. He was a classmate of my grandmother, and this listing is for the original 1929 yearbook (not a reproduction). Gene is pictured in the senior portraits section, as well as in three group/club photos. The yearbook also includes a poem he wrote.

Notably, in the senior questionnaire's "best boy dancer" category, Gene tied for third place! This is a softcover yearbook with heavy paper covers and sewn binding; a couple of pages are partially separated from the cover, but other pages are in very good shape for a nearly hundred-year-old item. Many signatures and autographs of classmates.
