WE HAVE 100'S OF LISTINGS! ALL ITEMS ARE MARKED WITH COSTUMERS I. This is a BEAUTIFUL satin gown worn by the well known GENEVIEVE BUJOLD - who was ANNE BOLEYN' in the famous'ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS' with RICHARD BURTON. The gown is done in a lovely watered satin.
The bodice is done in an ivory and floral print done in muted shades of orange, brown and gold. The neckline is edged in green braided trim with alternating white and green satin pompoms with white lace at the front neckline edge. The sleeves are done in 2 layers - the satin layer on the top has belled cuffs that are edged in the pompoms with a 5 1/2 pointed split at the back of the sleeve. The longer undersleeve is done in white sheer with tiny pleats and small cuffs that fasten with 2 small snaps. The bodice is fully lined and fastens in the back with hooks and eyes. The skirt is done in a cream or light tan watered satin with a large ruffle around the hem.The skirt fastens with snaps and hooks and eyes at the waistband. GENEVIEVE BUJOLD'S career began in the 1950's and is continuing strong. She of course was best known as ANNE BOLEYN from the movie'ANNE OF THE THOUSAND DAYS' which she starred with RICHARD BURTON. This beautiful gown is custom made so not marked for size but measures APPROXIMATELY a 34"/36" bust and a 22 waist. THIS GOWN IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! This gown is in the condition it was received in from the Costumer. This magnificent gown is truly a piece of history from The Golden Age of Hollywood!!
