George Slaff, 1951 signed document Famous Artists Corporation for Farley Granger

It is on the original Famous Artists Corporation letterhead paper used in the 1950's. This letter was sent by George Slaff in regards to a deal involving actor Farley Granger. It is hand signed on the bottom by George Slaff. This includes the 1 page shown in the photo above, there are no additional pages included.

The letter has discoloration from being in storage. If requested I will provide the document's measurements. Please view all of the pictures above carefully. This document is extremely historical because Farley Granger, very soon after, became the main actor in the 1951 Alfred Hitchcock film, "Strangers on a Train".

George Slaff, a former president of the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California who also represented members of the film industry. He lived in Beverly Hills and. Died in Los Angeles at the age of 83 years old.

Slaff, a graduate of Stanford University Law School, was a member of its national board of the A. From 1965 to 1981 and headed its Los Angeles office from 1965 to 1971. He was a two-term mayor of Beverly Hills and served on its City Council for 12 years. His clients included the film producer Samuel Goldwyn, whom he represented for more than 20 years.
