MASH G. I. MILITARY UNIFORM Television Costume Movie Memorabilia Prop COA

Bought from Hollywood Movie Costumes, this G. Military Costume "73 top 51 pants" was used in the long running TV show MASH ('72-'83) starring Alan Alda.

It is in excellent used condition. It has not been worn since the sale from the costumer. I have tried it on to help with sizing.

I wear a 14 pants and can put the pants on but not button them - size on the pants says 32" 29". The pants are very short.

They would be baggy on a size small, and loose on a medium I think - that's the way uniforms were worn. I wear a ladies large top. I can wear this top and barely close it - it would fit a small very baggy and a medium with room - see pics for measurements. There is a name stencilled on the inside of the top - Vincent Mayren- don't know what it refers to - maybe the top and pants were not a set. The material is gorgeous - crisp and heavy.

There is some wear on the collar and some very few scratch like holes from wear in the top of each arm and side bottom of the shirt. This is a wonderful piece of medical history, telling the story of the Korean War from a helicopter accessed, war deployed surgical Unit POV.
