THIS NON FUNCTION FLINTLOCK PISTOL WAS THE WARDROBE PROP USED BY CAPTAIN HECTOR BARBOSSA (PORTRAYED BY ACADEMY AWARD WINNING ACTOR GEOFFREY RUSH) FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE FILMING OF THE FIRST PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN MOVIES. THIS ITEM OFFERED HERE WAS AUCTIONED BY WALT DISNEY IN 2003 IN A MONUMENTAL SALE OF THE ORIGINAL PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN FILM PROPS AND WARDROBE.

CONSTRUCTED OF EXPERTLY PAINTED FOAM RUBBER THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN USED ON A DAILY BASIS. ONLY CLOSE UP SHOTS WOULD HAVE USED THE FULLY FUNCTIONING FLINTLOCK. IT DOSEN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS.
