It is UNUSED and is ROLLED! The COLORS are rich and vibrant with "NO CLOUDS" in the lower right corner that the repros have. I GUARANTEE IT ORIGINAL AS I DO ALL MY POSTERS!! THE REVENGE OF THE JEDI ORIGINAL POSTER WAS PRINTED IN 1982 AND THEN RECALLED BY GEORGE LUCAS FOR IT'S FAMOUS NAME CHANGE.
Another bit of STAR WARS Lore that you may not know, but I read as reported in VARIETY at the time.... "A Jedi Knight would NEVER commit revenge" was the excuse Mr. Lucas gave to 20th Century Fox for the change, which in turn cost 20th a bundle in changing ALL the many promotional items and tie- ins which had been already made and printed.. Including this most collectible RARE ORIGINAL POSTER.
VARIETY reported that LUCAS had not wanted STAR WARS released on video. He didnt believe that the video media did justice to STAR WARS. In his contract there was an overlooked clause that allowed him the right to change the title.
