Vintage original THEY LIVE video store display mobile oversized vhs box
The box part measures about 15 inches tall and 8.25 inches wide, and is shaped like a big VHS box. It also includes 2 pairs of glasses that have flicker images where the human face changes into a monster. The display is in rough condition, heavily used, actually more like beat-up. It has a number of scuffs, stress marks, creases, dents, small tears, etc. The inside has a lot of yellowing. The 2 pairs of glasses that attach to it are even more beat-up. One of them has a stick on the back to keep it straight (I don't know if this is original) which is partially separated from the glasses, and the other one has residue where the stick fell off.
One pair of glasses is torn in half on the nose piece and has been taped back together, the other is heavily creased in the middle. I also noticed some areas on the glasses where white marks on the creases have been touched-up with black ink to make them less obvious.
Still, this item is super-rare, the only one I have have ever seen in any condition.
